Hospice of Scotland County is committed to providing excellent end-of-life care to the patients and families we serve. One way we know we are meeting that mission is through the many letters and cards from families, expressing thanks for the care their loved one received from Hospice staff. Here's a sample of recent comments:
"We are very grateful for the loving care give to our mother by Hospice during her illness. All the nurses were always so kind and thoughtful to Ma, and to all of us. We will never forget everything Hospice did."
"Everything about our experience, from home hospice until he went into Morrison Manor, was wonderful. Everyone involved has been so good the the family. Kudos to Hospice of Scotland County."
"We can't thank you enough for all you did for our precious Daddy in the last week of his life. You were always there with a hug, an answer to a question or some medicine to relieve his discomfort. God bless you as you continue this most important work."
"Our family was extremely satisfied with the services Hospice provided. We could not have done any of it without them. They are kind, caring, and knew the answer to every question we asked. I would recommend them to anyone. They were very professional in their job duties, but most of all, they were there for anything our family needed. GREAT JOB! My sincere thanks to all of the Hospice of Scotland County team."
"I have nothing but the utmost respect for your bereavement program. It meant so much to me and was a real comfort to me. I would rate every part of this program excellent. Thank you from the bottom of my heart."
"I never rate anything 100 percent, but I give Hospice of Scotland County 150 percent--Excellent. Your care far exceeded anything I expected. Thank you for being there...you made it bearable during the most difficult time. Thank you all for everything."
"The nurses were excellent. They stayed with us all night when my husband was dying and afterwards."
"I want to take this opportunity to thank all of you. Hospice of Scotland County will always be special to me. As I think back to the time my husband spent with you, I can only think of positive things. Right away, I knew that he was in a special place, with special people. The caregivers assured me that they would always be there for him, and they were. As I came and went, I noticed one day that a lady had given him a small pillow for his hands. Then another day, someone else gave him a string of beads to put in his hands, to keep him calm. How special that was to me!! And still is. Thank you all again, and may God bless each and every one of you."
"My Mother's death was much more peaceful than I had ever dreamed. We were able to take care of her at home. The Hospice Staff took such loving care of her. In such a short time, they became part of our family."
"I cannot begin to express my gratitude and love for Hospice of Scotland County. The caregivers there are amazing! My mother's last days were filled with dignity, the best care, and my family received so much support and respect from nurses and staff. It felt like home with our children around us as we went through those painful and heartwrenching days. Thank you so much for all you did for my mother!"
